Russia 2 - St Petersburg

The Church on the Blood officially became a cathedral in 1923 but after the Russian Revolution it was looted and finally closed in 1932. It was damaged in WW11 and used as a warehouse for the Small Opera Theatre, by then virtually in ruins.
